Today the 2017 inductees were honoured at the Palazzo Vecchio, including Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero and Milan hero Ruud Gullit.
During the ceremony, FIGC sub-commissioner Alessandro Costacurta announced that, starting from this year, the Fair Play Award will be renamed the Premio Davide Astori.

The Viola defender tragically passed away last month ahead of a game with Udinese, with his number 13 shirt retired by Fiorentina and former club Cagliari.
In addition, the Florentine club renamed their training centre after Astori.
