Nicolò Fagioli’s agent insists his client has not been included in a swap deal for Manuel Locatelli and warns Juventus that Arsenal already offered €40m.

Both Juventus and Arsenal are in talks to sign the 23-year-old, who was part of the Italy squad that won UEFA Euro 2020.

The Gunners have already offered €40m to sign the Sassuolo starlet, while the Old Lady want to match the Neroverdi’s asking price by including a player to a €30m cash offer.

Fagioli and Radu Dragusin are rumoured to be included in the deal, but Andrea D’Amico, agent of the 20-year-old midfielder, revealed his client wouldn’t move to the Mapei Stadium.

“I think Massimiliano Allegri wants to see him in training to understand if he can be useful during the season,” D’Amico told Sky Sport Italia.

“When he played against SPAL and Crotone last term, he proved he can be a protagonist of Juventus’ future.

“Juventus would like to sign Locatelli and Arsenal have already offered €40m,” he continued.

“But I can ensure you that, as of today, Fagioli has not been included in the deal.”

Locatelli wants to join Juventus to play Champions League football, snubbing a move to North London. For this reason, the Old Lady hope Sassuolo will eventually accept their offer to sign the product of Milan academy.

Locatelli swapped the Rossoneri with Sassuolo in a €14m deal in 2019. He has scored seven goals and delivered 11 assists in 99 appearances with the Neroverdi.
