Genoa sporting director Daniele Faggiano said the Rossoblu are ‘all in quarantine and can’t play against Torino on Saturday’.
The UEFA protocol says 13 players are the minimum needed for the match to go ahead as planned, but Faggiano said it wouldn’t help the Grifoni, who are all quarantined after having discovered 14 cases of coronavirus in the matchday group.
“We are all in quarantine,” Faggiano told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. “The ASL stopped us, we can’t play Saturday against Torino even with the 13 available.

“Without training, we must postpone it. The date has been found, because the Granata aren’t playing in the Cups.”
Faggiano said Genoa never asked to postpone the match against Napoli, despite having discovered positive cases ahead of the trip.
“With Napoli, we never asked for postponement because the calendar included the match on Saturday against Torino.
“I want to clarify that my words about the defeat at San Paolo because we were positive for COVID, was just a joke.
“We will release the list of positive players shortly. We are resolving the privacy issues and then we will give the complete list."
