Sporting director Daniele Faggiano has claimed the only option for Juventus was to let Dejan Kulusevski remain on loan at Parma.
The Swedish international moved from Atalanta to the Old Lady, but the 19-year-old will finish what he started at the Ennio Tardini this term.
His impressive form at the Crociati during the first half of the season has earned him a €35m move to the Allianz Stadium from Atalanta, but Faggiano revealed he was not willing to let the youngster leave his loan deal this winter.

“Juventus could have given me who they wanted, but he’s a Parma player and he will remain here until June 30, that was our goal,” the sporting director told Radio Punto Nuovo. “Dejan is one of our players, he’s a serious guy and a professional.
“Normally, I would have taken [Marko] Pjaca, but not in a swap deal.”
Kulusevski was immediately loaned back to Parma after making the move to the Old Lady and will continue to help the Emiliani during the 2019-20 season. He is currently on four goals from 17 games and will face his former employer on Monday.
The Ducali are preparing to face Atalanta tomorrow and are heading to the game at seventh in the League, four points behind sixth-placed Cagliari.
