Genoa sporting director Daniele Faggiano has revealed Mattia Destro ‘wants to show’ he still can contribute in Serie A.
Destro spent last season with the Grifoni on loan from Bologna and moved on a permanent free transfer to the Marassi this summer.
The 29-year-old has scored once in two appearances this term and has recently recovered from coronavirus and Faggiano says he’s ready to prove his worth.

“He wants to show that he’s still the Mattia Destro we all knew,” Faggiano told Tuttomercatoweb. “He was ready already against Crotone.
“Unfortunately, he didn’t train for more than 20 days.”
