Juventus will soon begin talks to extend Dusan Vlahovic’s contract, but transfer expert Matteo Moretto says the striker’s fate is tied to Massimiliano Allegri’s future.

Vlahovic is not available for a Serie A game between the Bianconeri and Udinese on Monday night, but the Serbian striker remains a focal point of discussions in Turin.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto has told Caught Offside that contract extension talks between the Serie A giants and Vlahovic have not begun yet and that it is still ‘too early’ to know what the future has in store for the Serbia international.

Moretto confirms Chelsea followed Vlahovic last summer and feels other Premier League clubs will enquire about the ex-Fiorentina star at the end of the season.

There’s a feeling that Vlahovic’s future will also depend on Max Allegri whose contract in Turin runs out in June 2025. It is not yet guaranteed that the 56-year-old will remain in Turin beyond the summer and according to Moretto, Vlahovic’s decision on his future at the Allianz Stadium will also depend on the potential replacement for the Livorno-born coach.

Vlahovic’s Juventus contract runs out in June 2026.
