Exclusive: Sarri turns down Fiorentina

Napoli and Roma remain in the race for Maurizio Sarri, who has rejected an offer from Fiorentina, sources tell Football Italia.

The Tuscan tactician is under contract with Juventus until 2022, but the Old Lady can terminate their agreement by the end of the month, paying €2.5m.

Sarri was sacked by the Bianconeri one year ago despite winning a ninth Serie A title.

Sarri didn’t want to join any team while the season was ongoing and rejected all the offers he received during the campaign, including those from Marseille and Fenerbache.

The former Chelsea coach is determined to join a Serie A club at the end of the season and Roma and Napoli are the most concrete options at the moment.
