Juventus must sit down with Federico Chiesa’s entourage to determine the future of the Italian winger while reports in England link the 26-year-old with a summer move to Liverpool.

According to HITC, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Chiesa ahead of next summer’s transfer window as the Italian winger hasn’t yet reached an agreement over a new long-term deal at Juventus.

However, negotiations between Chiesa and the Serie A giants haven’t yet begun, as Football Italia’s transfer expert Matteo Moretto explained to Caught Offside.

Chiesa’s contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in 2025, so Bianconeri directors must sit down with his entourage to sort out the player’s future and understand which path the Italian winger wants to take.

It is not guaranteed that Chiesa will agree to sign a new long-term deal at the Allianz Stadium. If he decides against signing a contract extension, Juventus will prepare for his sale in the summer so they won’t lose him as a free agent at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

Chiesa has been struggling with injuries this season, missing five Serie A games due to physical problems. He has scored six goals in 18 league matches and was introduced as a substitute in the second half in Juventus’ 1-0 loss to Inter on Sunday.
