Milan are happy to have sent Luka Romero to Almeria on loan and will plan out his next steps in the summer, transfer market expert Matteo Moretto reports.

The 19-year-old Argentinian winger, who became the youngest ever La Liga debutant in history back with RCD Mallorca in June 2020, joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer last summer but failed to convince Stefano Pioli, hardly receiving any playing time in the Lombardy capital.

After seeing just 155 minutes of action across five games with Milan, Luka Romero left for Almeria on loan last month. He’s already started to feature regularly, and he shined in the 2-2 draw with Atletico Madrid on the weekend, scoring both goals for his club.

Football Italia transfer expert Matteo Moretto discussed the future of Luka Romero at Milan and talks with Chelsea via Caught Offside.

The Rossoneri are happy with the teenager’s work at Almeria so far, knowing that he needed to play regularly in order to continue his development. In the summer, the club will bring him back and then sit down to discuss his future with his entourage. They believe in him and will remain patient.
