SportItalia has claimed that Acquah had agreed terms with Lecce over a move back to Serie A, but Football-Italia’s sources states that he is also negotiating terms with an unnamed club in the top division.

SportItalia has claimed that Acquah had agreed terms with Lecce over a move back to Serie A, but Football-Italia’s sources states that he is also negotiating terms with an unnamed club in the top division.

Our reporter Richard Gyasi has revealed that the Ghana international is currently in ongoing talks about a move back to Serie A this winter.

Acquah has previously played for Palermo, Parma, Sampdoria, Torino and Empoli, before he left the latter last summer and moved to the Turkish club Malatyaspor on a free transfer.

Lecce are now looking to bring him back to Serie A, but Gyasi has revealed that they face competition from a direct rival.
