Marcelo Bielsa, who lasted two days as Lazio Coach, could be set to take over Andrea Radrizzani’s Leeds United.
Leeds sacked Paul Heckingbottom on Friday, and reports in Spain claim Bielsa is currently in talks to replace the Englishman.
Furthermore, the Yorkshire Evening Post understands the 62-year-old is a ‘genuine target’ for the role.
Bielsa is widely credited with pioneering the high-intensity, short-passing style that helped Barcelona and Spain dominate world football between 2008 and 2012.

He has also inspired a generation of Coaches, including Maurizio Sarri, Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino, although he is best known in Italy for abandoning Lazio just two days after he was appointed as many years ago.
Leeds, meanwhile, are owned by Radrizzani, who helped broker Suning Group’s takeover of Inter in 2016 and bought the Championship club from another Italian – former Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino.
