Ezequiel Schelotto, who once played for Brighton and Inter, has agreed personal terms with Serie D side Barletta, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

The 34-year-old Argentine-Italian has left second tier side Club Deportivo Morón and is now looking for the club to close out his playing career, keen to head into a coaching role.

Schelotto has been somewhat of a journeyman in his career, plying his trade for 12 different clubs since turning professional in 2008, including brief spells with Inter and Brighton.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Schelotto has agreed to join Serie D side Barletta and will head to Puglia on Monday next week to complete his move.

The club are keen to fight for promotion to Serie C and are also working on a deal for former Roma midfielder Massimiliano Marsili.

Schelotto plans to close out his playing career with Barletta before working on his UEFA coaching license, keen to move onto the next stage of his journey in football.
