Jose Mourinho clearly enjoyed Roma’s Europa League quarter-final win over Feyenoord, chasing his Dutch counterpart Arne Slot down the tunnel, taunting a journalist and joking about Antonio Cassano in the post-match proceedings.

The Giallorossi fell in a 1-0 loss to the Eredivisie outfit in their first meeting earlier this month but flew to victory at the Stadio Olimpico, picking up a 4-1 win thanks to goals from Leonardo Spinazzola, Paulo Dybala, Stephan El Shaarawy and Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Mourinho’s antics started soon after the full-time whistle, when his Feyenoord counter-part Slot started to retreat to the dressing room without shaking the Roma coach’s hand. He chased him down the tunnel, shouting: “Respect” and “Go to watch Napoli, watch Napoli now”.

The Portuguese coach’s reaction is related to comments made by Slot last week, when he stated that he’d prefer to watch Manchester City or Napoli due to Mourinho’s tactics at Roma.

When giving his post-match interview to Sky Sports Italia, Mourinho was told that there were champions in the studio who wanted to ask him questions. With his trademark sly grin, he quipped in response: “Cassano isn’t there, is he?”, making a slight dig after their public spat in recent weeks.

He then spoke to DAZN, who asked him to give his opinion about the temporary return of Juventus’ previously deducted 15 points. He replied: “They were given the points back three months ago, I’ve been in Italy in Italy for four years, not four days.”

Finally, Mourinho capped off his post-match celebrations with a joke at the expense of Dutch journalist Joep Schreuder, gifting him a Europa Conference League keyring.
