Everton are believed to be in negotiations with Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao, but are not close to a deal.
The centre-back is 26 years old and has been with the Friulani since the summer of 2019.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the two clubs are discussing a potential transfer, but they are still a long way off reaching an agreement.
Brazil-born Becao is under contract with Udinese until June 2024 and helped his team avoid relegation with 35 Serie A appearances last season, including two goals and one assist.
