Roma will be hoping to overcome recent rivals Feyenoord as the two sides battle it out for a spot in the Europa League knockout stages.

The match between the Rossoneri and the Eredivisie outfit kicks off at 20.00 UK time at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Tensions were predictably high for the first leg between Roma and Feyenoord last week, a match that ended 1-1 at De Kuip after goals from Igor Paixao and Romelu Lukaku, leaving everything on the table in the second leg.

Roma’s only absence is striker Tammy Abraham, who is still recovering from the cruciate ligament injury he suffered last year.

Feyenoord edged out a 1-0 win over RKC Waalwijk on the weekend but their inconsistency earlier in the season means they still sit 10 points behind league leaders PSV after 22 matches.

The Giallorossi cruised to a 3-0 win away to Feyenoord in their recent league outing and Daniele De Rossi’s strong work so far has allowed them to keep up the pace in the race for a top four finish.

Probable line-ups for Roma vs Feyenoord

Roma (4-3-3): Svilar; Karsdorp, Mancini, Llorente, Angelino; Cristante, Paredes, Pellegrini; Dybala, Lukaku, El Shaarawy.

Feyenoord (4-3-3): Wellenreuther; Geertruida, Beelen, Hancko, Hartman; Wieffer, Zerrouki, Timber; Stengs, Gimenez, Paixao.
