Tammy Abraham is expected to return to Roma‘s starting XI against Real Sociedad, with Diego Llorente or Marash Kumbulla replacing the suspended Roger Ibanez in defence.

It kicks off at 17.45 GMT at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. It’s the first leg of the Conference League Round of 16.

Ebrima Darboe is not available for Roma, while Ibanez is suspended. Llorente or Kumbulla will replace the ex-Atalanta centre-back.

Llorente joined the Giallorossi on loan from Leeds United in January but has only played one minute in Serie A this season, so this would be his debut as a starter.

Italy international Leonardo Spinazzola should start on the left flank, with one between Rick Karsdorp and Nicola Zalewski on the other side of the pitch.

Paulo Dybala, Abraham and Lorenzo Pellegrini are expected to start up front. The English striker would return to Roma’s starting line-up after being dropped in the last Serie A match against Juventus.

Roma lost just two of their last 33 European games at home, but both against Spanish clubs. The Stadio Olimpico will be sold out, with more than 60,000 fans in the stands.
