Milan and Roma will meet in a Serie A derby in the Europa League quarter-final, while Atalanta have been drawn with Liverpool.

The Europa League quarter-final and semi-final draw took place in Nyon on Friday afternoon.

It wasn’t exactly positive for Serie A sides as Milan and Roma were drawn together, while Atalanta were paired with Liverpool, the favourite team to lift the trophy this season.

Milan will play the first leg at home on April 11, while Atalanta’s first game against Liverpool will be at Anfield.

The deciders will be played on April 18.

Today’s draw also set the pathway for the semi-finals with Milan or Roma meeting Bayer Leverkusen or West Ham in the semis, playing the first leg at home.

Atalanta or Liverpool will meet the winner of Benfica-Marseille, but La Dea or The Reds will play the first leg away.
