Atalanta visit RB Leipzig in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals today. Check out the probable line-ups.

It kicks off at 17.45 at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig and its’ the first-ever meeting between La Dea and the Germans in an official European competition. Atalanta won their last four games in the competition, including the last two away against Olympiacos and Bayer Leverkusen.

Being eight points behind fourth-placed Juventus in Serie A, Europa League may offer an easier path to qualify for the Champions League. Gian Piero Gasperini must cope without Rafael Toloi, Joakim Maehle, Berat Djimsiti and Josip Ilicic. Marten De Roon, Merih Demiral and Mario Pasalic are one yellow card away from suspension.

There is one doubt for Gasperini in attack where Luis Muriel seems to be favourite over Jeremie Boga.  Atalanta have collected more points away than at home this season (33 to 18 in 15 games).

Leipzig are coached by the Italian Domenico Tedesco. They are without Amadou Haidara and Yussuf Poulsen.

Probable line-ups

RB Leipzig (3-4-2-1): Gulacsi; Simakan, Orban, Gvardiol; Henrichs, Laimer, Kampl, Angelino; Nkunku, Dani Olmo; Andre Siva.

Atalanta (3-4-1-2): Musso; Scalvini, Demiral, Palomino; Hateboer, De Roon, Freuler, Zappacosta: Koopmeiners; Malinovskyi, Muriel.
