Napoli are counting their men ahead of the game against Legia Warszawa in the Europa League, coping without Fabian Ruiz, Lorenzo Insigne and Victor Osimhen.

The match kicks off at 17.45 UK time.

Luciano Spalletti’s men travel to Poland with a host of absentees and the coach has only one defender on the bench.

Only 18 players have travelled, including three goalkeepers, with Mario Rui, Kevin Malcuit and Kostas Manolas missing in defence.

Amir Rrahmani is expected to take place next to Kalidou Koulibaly, with Giovanni Di Lorenzo at right and Juan Jesus at left.

Alessandro Zanoli is thus expected to start on the bench against Legia, while Diego Demme and Zambo Anguissa should be in the middle.

Andrea Petagna seems set to start up front, with Matteo Politano, Piotr Zielinski and Eljif Elmas in the attacking trident behind the former Atalanta striker.

Hirving Lozano and Dries Mertens could therefore start on the bench in Poland, where Legia are expected to arrive in a 3-4-3 formation.

Probable line-ups: Legia Warszawa vs. Napoli

Legia (3-4-3): Miszta; Jedrzejczyk, Wieteska, Rose; Johansson, Ciepela, Slisz, Ribeiro; Kastrati, Emreli, Muci

Napoli (4-2-3-1): Meret; Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Koulibaly, Juan Jesus; Demme, Anguissa; Politano, Zielinski, Elmas; Petagna

  1. I’m going to watch Legia-Napoli live in Warsaw, I just got the ticket :-)).
I hope for a draw, but will be tough (too many cheap mercenaries in the team, unexperienced new coach).
I”ll so miss Insigne, Osimhen, Fabian Ruiz and others injured. I hope Mertens will play, as a starter or as a sub.
I’ll wave you in TV ;-).
