Europa League line-ups: Roma vs. Feyenoord

Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku lead the way for Roma in the Europa League play-off, but Feyenoord have top scorer Santiago Gimenez and Quinten Timber return to the starting XI.

It kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico at 20.00 GMT.

The first leg ended 1-1 with Lukaku cancelling out the Igor Paixao free header, so with the away goals rule no longer applying in UEFA tournaments, it’s winner takes all in the Eternal City.

Daniele De Rossi has now given the gloves to Mile Svilar in all competitions, while he continues with the 4-3-3 formation.

Edoardo Bove is suspended and makes way for Bryan Cristante, while Stephan El Shaarawy returns in the trident with Dybala and Lukaku.

Tammy Abraham is injured, with Dean Huijsen and Rasmus Kristensen not on the UEFA list.

Feyenoord are boosted by the recovery of top scorer Gimenez, who was only fit to be a substitute in the first leg and has scored 21 goals in 30 competitive games this season.

Also available again after injury are winger Alireza Jahanbakhsh, Quinten Timber and Lutsharel Geetruida, but Justin Bijlow, Gernot Trauner, Thomas van den Belt and Gjvai Zechiel are still out of action.

The Dutch side have a very poor away record, losing all three Champions League trips earlier this season, including a 1-0 loss here to Lazio on November 3.

They lost here 4-1 in extra time in last season’s chaotic Europa League quarter-final and of course were beaten by Roma in the May 2022 Conference League Final.
