Juventus start Angel Di Maria in support of Dusan Vlahovic for the Europa League Round of 16 tie against Vincenzo Grifo’s SC Freiburg, but Paul Pogba is dropped for disciplinary reasons.
It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin at 20.00 GMT.
This is the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16, with the decider next Thursday in Germany.
Having stuttered at home to Nantes before securing a 3-0 away victory in the play-off, Max Allegri is eager to get the job done earlier this time.
Di Maria scored a hat-trick in their last Europa tie and there were some suggestions he could be used in a trident attack with Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa.
However, it remains a 3-5-1-1 with Di Maria supporting the Serbian, leaving Chiesa on the bench.
Arkadiusz Milik and Kaio Jorge are still out of action, though Pogba is frozen out as a disciplinary measure after he turned up late to a team meeting.
The man to watch in the Freiburg side is Italy international Grifo, who has scored 14 goals for the club in all competitions this season and is their current top scorer.
Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is out for the rest of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
Centre-forward Michael Gregoritsch returns after illness, but Woo-yeong Jeong has not made the trip.
