Valentin ‘Taty’ Castellanos will be looking for his first goal in a European competition against OGC Nice, but Lazio coach Marco Baroni will rotate his squad at the Stadio Olimpico.

It kicks off at 18:45 CET (16:45 GMT) in Rome.

Tijjani Noslin is suspended, and Gaetano Castrovilli is not on Lazio’s UEFA list.

Baroni is expected to rotate after a convincing 3-2 win over Torino on Sunday. Captain Alessio Romagnoli will likely rest, making room for Mario Gila and Patric in central defence.

Matias Vecino will replace Nicolò Rovella in the middle of the park, joining Matteo Guendouzi. Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Pedro, and Loum Tchaouna will be the attacking midfielders behind Castellanos, who hasn’t yet scored in a European competition since moving to the Stadio Olimpico in the summer of 2023.

Lazio vs OGC Nice – probable line-ups

Lazio (4-2-3-1): Mandas, Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Pellegrini, Vecino, Guendouzi, Tchaouna, Dele-Bashiru, Pedro, Castellanos.

OGC Nice (3-4-3): Bulka; Ndayishimiye, Bombito, Dante; Clauss, Rosario, Louchet, Bard; Bouanani, Moukoko, Guessand.
