Roma and Atalanta have learnt their group stage opponents in the Europa League and are now gearing up for their European tours.

Jose Mourinho’s side have been drawn into Group G alongside Slavia Prague, Sheriff Tiraspol and Servette. La Dea are in Group D with Sporting CP, Sturm Graz and Rakow Czestochowa.

Roma finished as runners-up in the Europa League last season, losing to Sevilla in the final after a penalty shoot-out, whilst Atalanta missed out on European competition entirely.

The Giallorossi carried out a low-cost summer transfer window, picking up reinforcements like Romelu Lukaku, Houssem Aouar and Evan Ndicka.

Atalanta had more resources to work with after selling Rasmus Hojlund to Manchester United and invested in players like El Bilal Toure, Gianluca Scamacca and Charles De Ketelaere.

32 teams are in the running for the Europa League final, which will take place on May 22, 2024 at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
