Daniele De Rossi’s Roma are ready to face recent rivals Feyenoord in the first leg of their Europa League knockout play-off tie.

The match between the Eredivisie outfit and the Giallorossi kicks off at 17.45 UK time at De Kuip in Rotterdam.

Roma and Feyenoord have faced each other twice in the last two seasons, initially meeting in the Conference League final in the 2021-22 season before battling it out again in the Europa League quarter-finals last term. On both occasions, the Italian side came out on top.

Roma suffered a painful 4-2 loss to Inter on the weekend, whilst Feyenoord cruised to a 2-0 win over Sparta Rotterdam.

The Giallorossi cannot count on Tammy Abraham, who is still out injured. Dean Huijsen and Rasmus Kristensen are both unavailable as well, not being part of the registered UEFA squad.

Lutsharel Geertruida, Quinten Timber, Justin Bijlow, Gernot Trauner, Gjivai Zechiel and Thomas Van den Belt are all out of action for Feyenoord, limiting Arne Slot’s options.
