There are two Italian sides left in the tournament, both of them dropped down from the Champions League by finishing third in their groups.

As usual, Spanish teams dominate the competition with three in the final 16: Sevilla (who eliminated Lazio), Valencia and Villarreal.

Arsenal and Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea represent the Premier League, with Zenit and Krasnodar for Russia.

Rounding out the final 16 are Benfica (Portugal), Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia), Dynamo Kyiv (Ukraine), Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), Rennes (France), RB Salzburg (Austria) and Slavia Prague (Czech Republic).

There is no seeding in this draw, so two favourites can be paired with each other.

The only restriction is that Russian and Ukrainian teams cannot be drawn in the same tie due to tensions between the countries.
