10:55 Welcome!
Welcome to today’s liveblog for the Europa League and Conference League Round of 16 draws.
Follow UEFA’s Europa League and Conference League Round of 16 draws live with Football Italia, where Milan, Roma, Atalanta and Fiorentina will learn their next opponents on the European stage.
The draw is being hosted by UEFA at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland, following the conclusion of the Europa League and Conference League knockout play-offs.
Milan qualified for the Europa League knockout stages after beating Rennes 5-3 on aggregate, whilst Roma edged out a win over Feyenoord after a tense penalty shoot-out. Atalanta and Fiorentina topped their respective European groups, avoiding any possible playoff pitfalls.
Serie A is the only league to still have all of their participating teams taking part in European club competitions, with all seven still competing. The next best in Europe is the Premier League, who have six of their initial eight representatives still involved.
The rules of the draw are simple – the eight group winners from each competition will be drawn against the respective knockout play-off winners, and clubs from the same country cannot be drawn together. The group winners play the first leg away and the return leg at home.
