Gianluca Scamacca is tipped to return to the Atalanta starting line-ups for Thursday’s Europa League round of 16 second leg against Sporting CP at the Gewiss Stadium on Thursday evening.

Gian Piero Gasperini has a fully fit and available squad for Thursday’s game against Sporting and is expected to name his strongest possible XI.

Atalanta require a win by the end of the evening to qualify for the quarter-finals, having drawn the first leg 1-1 in Lisbon last week.

Gasperini looks likely to name Giorgio Scalvini, Berat Djimsiti and Sead Kolasinac in defence, in front of Juan Musso in goal, who started the last game against Sporting.

Emil Holm and Matteo Ruggeri are in line to start at wing-back, alongside a midfield three of Ederson, Marten De Roon and the sought-after Teun Koopmeiners.

Gianluca Scamacca could return to the starting line-ups to partner Ademola Lookman in a two-man attack.

Kick-off in Bergamo is at 20.00 GMT.
