Jose Mourinho’s men qualified for the Europa Conference League group stage and Roma are drawn in Group C with FC Zorya Luhansk, CSKA Sofia and Bodo/Glimt.
The Giallorossi are drawn in Group C of the newly founded competition and will face Milan’s Norwegian opponents from the preliminary stages of the Europa League last term.
Jens Petter Hauge’s former side return to Italy, but this time to the Italian capital, while Roma will also entertain Ukrainian side Zorya and Buglarian CSKA Sofia.

What is this horrible tournament and what’s the point of it?
Why not have a tournament for the relegation battlers then?
Guys, it’s CSKA Sofia, not just Sofia. It’s like saying they are playing London or Milano. Sofia has like 15 football clubs, all suck, but still.
I like the idea of this tournament. a) It makes Europa League in line with Champions League at 32 teams in 8 groups of 4 teams instead of 48; b) Makes Europa League a bit more prestigious from a Serie A point of view (would you rather qualify for for the EL or the ECL if you can’t get into the CL); c) It gives lesser clubs a chance of competing in Europe.
As it sits right now, this is Roma‘s or Tottenham’s tournament to win, but of course it means playing strong teams as opposed to marching out the youth team.
