It kicks off at 15:00 CET (13:00 GMT) at the Merkur Spiel Arena today, Friday, June 21, 2024.
Francesco Calzona’s Slovakia surprisingly beat Belgium on their debut, but Ukraine’s 3-0 loss to Romania was probably as unexpected as the Slovakians’ victory.
Napoli’s Stan Lobotka was the MOTM against Belgium in the previous round and starts against the Ukrainians today as well, alongside ex-Inter defender Milan Skriniar.

After 3 outstanding halves, it was almost like Slovakia suddenly remembered they were Slovakia in that 2nd half and completely bottled it. Kucka giving the ball away leading to counter which resulted in first goal for Ukraine, and then did it again a few minutes later but mudryk hit the post. Slovakia denied the most blatant pen in the 1st half. premier league ref didn’t even have it checked 🤦🏻♂️
