Switzerland vs Italy: kick-off time and latest team news

The match will kick off at 17.00 BST at Olympiastadion in Berlin.

The Azzurri will be without two key defenders in Riccardo Calafiori, who has picked up a yellow card suspension, and Inter wing-back Federico Dimarco, who has been ruled out with injury. Italy are expected to field Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Matteo Darmian at full-back, while Gianluca Mancini is in line to start at centre-back.

Spalletti hinted that he is still deliberating over his attacking options, as either Gianluca Scamacca or Mateo Retegui could be called upon in the starting line-up.

In terms of the midfield, there could be an opportunity for Juventus’s Nicolo Fagioli, and Roma’s Bryan Cristante has also been suggested as a possible alternative to Arsenal’s Jorginho.
