Sweden midfielders Dejan Kulusevski and Mattias Svanberg have recovered from COVID and returned to training today.

Both players had tested positive for COVID days before the kick-off of Euro 2020 and missed the first game of the competition against Spain.

They have now recovered from COVID and the Sweden national team posted a picture of the former Parma and Atalanta man smiling before today’s training session.

“Guess who is back?” Sweden wrote on Instagram.

Both players are expected to be available for Sweden’s next game against Slovakia on Friday.

Kulusevski completed a €44m move to Juventus in 2020 and played 47 games across all competitions in his first season in Turin, scoring seven goals and delivering just as many assists in the process.

Svanberg, 22, joined Bologna from Malmo in a €4.5m move in 2018 he managed five goals and two assists in 35 appearances in all competitions with Bologna in 2020-21.

Sweden picked up a point against Spain in their debut game of Euro 2020.
