Euro 2020 goes ahead with three games scheduled for today, but everybody’s thoughts continue to be with Christian Eriksen, who is stable in hospital.

The Inter and Denmark playmaker collapsed during Denmark vs. Finland yesterday, requiring urgent CPR on the pitch. He was eventually ‘transferred to hospital and stabilised.’

The Denmark FA has announced the player is stable in hospital where he will undergo further medical examinations.

Eriksen’s Inter teammate Romelu Lukaku dedicated Belgium’s victory and his first goal against Russia to him last night, but many other teammates and former teammates of the 29-year-old are continuing to send messages to Eriksen on social media.

Tottenham star Harry Kane, who played with Eriksen in North London, was one of those.

“Chris. I’m sending all my love to you and your family. Stay strong mate,” the England striker wrote on Twitter.

The Three Lions cancelled their pre-match press conference yesterday out of respect for Eriksen and will face Croatia at Wembley today.

It’s one of the three games in the Euro 2020 program. It kicks off at 2 pm UK time.

The other two are Austria vs. North Macedonia (5 pm) and Netherlands vs. Ukraine (8 pm).
