Euro 2020 kicks off today in Rome. Follow all the latest updates ahead of the debut game between Italy and Turkey at the Stadio Olimpico.

The European Championships finally begin after being postponed one year ago due to the COVID pandemic.

Roberto Mancini’s Italy host the opening game of the competition against Turkey at the Stadio Olimpico, where the Azzurri will play all three games of the group stage.

It kicks off at 8 pm GMT.

The Azzurri will be without Marco Verratti and Lorenzo Pellegrini. The PSG midfielder is recovering from an injury and will be available for the next games of the competition, while Pellegrini has been replaced by Fiorentina‘s Gaetano Castrovilli who joined the Azzurri in Rome on Thursday.

Domenico Berardi is expected to start over Federico Chiesa at right-winger with Lorenzo Insigne on the opposite flank and Ciro Immobile starting as a sole striker.
