The last 16 are upon us and Italy take on Austria at Wembley tonight, after Wales vs. Denmark in Amsterdam.

The Italians have travelled to London for the first game in the knockout stages, where they face the runners-up from Group C.

Italy CT Roberto Mancini seems set to give Marco Verratti the nod in the midfield trident, replacing an impressive Manuel Locatelli from the first two group stage matches.

The match between Italy and Austria is of course the main talking point in the Italian newspapers and the game starts at 20.00 UK time, but Wales and Denmark kick off the round of 16 in Amsterdam at 17.00.

The anti-racism protest was a hot topic during the press conference of captain Leonardo Bonucci, who discussed whether Italy would join Austria in ‘taking the knee’ before kick-off.

Italy’s Minister for Health also insisted UEFA should be open to moving the Euro 2020 semi-finals and Final away from Wembley.

The European Championship continues with an exciting week of fixtures and the Italians are ‘dreaming of another notte magica’.
