Italy CT Roberto Mancini is expected to change half the squad against Wales when Marco Verratti should be back in the starting line-up for the Azzurri.

The match at the Olimpico kicks off at 17.00 UK time.

The Azzurri are already through to the knockout stages of the European Championship and Mancini sees an opportunity to give his fringe men a chance to shine in the third match of Group A.

A win or a draw will secure the top spot in the group for Italy and Gigio Donnarumma is expected to continue in goal.

Napoli defender Giovanni Di Lorenzo has done well since he took over at right-back when Alessandro Florenzi was injured in the first game, but this time Rafael Toloi seems set to get the nod.

The Atalanta full-back is not the only change in defence, as Leonardo Bonucci is the only one certain to stay in the back four.

Inter centre-back Alessandro Bastoni fights with Francesco Acerbi of Lazio for the place next to Bonucci, and Emerson Palmieri could get the green light at left-back on Sunday night.

Jorginho is expected to continue in the middle, but with Bryan Cristante and Marco Verratti completing the trident.

Verratti has been uncertain since he suffered a knee injury in May but has been pushing for a return in time for the Euros.

Federico Chiesa is expected to start in the attack, but the Juventus winger had a problem in training and Federico Bernardeschi would step in if his club teammate won’t be ready.

Ciro Immobile has scored two goals in two games, but Andrea Belotti is expected to get a chance against the Welsh, who arrive with a full squad.

Robert Page is expected to continue with Daniel James, Aaron Ramsey and Gareth Bale in the attacking trident behind Kieffer Moore.
