Italy host Turkey at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico in the first game of Euro 2020 tomorrow.

“It’s going to be a special game for me, I play in Italy and it will be memorable to take the field in an Italian city, for other teammates who play in Serie A and me,” the Milan playmaker told Sky Sport Italia.

“I even spoke to [Leonardo] Bonucci on the phone, it was a funny conversation. They know us well, they know our players and they respect us.”

Bonucci and Calhanoglu played for one season at Milan before the defender returned to Juventus in the summer of 2018.
