Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappé cross paths in Portugal vs. France this evening and their future is connected on the transfer market.

Both Ronaldo and Mbappé’s contracts expire in June 2022 and their futures at Juventus and PSG remain up in the air.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports the Juventus forward could replace Mbappé at PSG if the latter joins Real Madrid in the summer.

Mbappé doesn’t seem willing to extend his stay in Paris and the Merengues are long time admirers of the 2018 France World Cup winner.

Les Blues meet Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal in their third and last group stage game of Euro 2020 this evening, but the Ferenc Puskas encounter may be just the first time CR7 and Mbappé cross paths this summer.

PSG star Neymar revealed a few weeks ago that he dreams of playing with Cristiano Ronaldo one day and Il Corriere dello Sport reports PSG President Al-Khelaifi could offer the Juventus forward a prominent role to advertize the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Ronaldo has informed Juventus he will decide his future after the Euros and although his agent Jorge Mendes has been in Milan over the last week, he’s yet not met the Bianconeri’s executives to discuss the future of his star client.

Ronaldo and Mbappé have already met three times in their career. Twice at a club level and once in a Nations League clash last year.
