However, according to Mediaset, the Blucerchiati have agreed a deal which will see Antonio Cassano return to Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

The Italian international is a free agent after tearing up his Parma contract in January, and the news outlet believes that a meeting between Samp President Massimo Ferrero, sporting director Carlo Osti and the player’s agent Beppe Bozzo has ended with an agreement for his return.

Cassano spent three-and-a-half seasons in Liguria, providing 41 goals and 38 assists in his 115 matches.
