“There are 25 first team players here,” the South American noted. “You have to give 100 per cent in training.

“I have to demonstrate on a daily basis that I deserve to wear this shirt.

“Saying that, I have to admit that it is already satisfying to be able to train with so many champions.”

The Copa America star joined Juve in the summer on a €500,000 loan deal.

The Italian club will have the option to buy him outright from Deportivo Maldonado for €5m at the end of the season.
