Check out the probable line-ups for today’s Lombard derby between Monza and Atalanta at the U-Power Stadium.

It kicks off at 17.30 UK time.

Monza’s only win against Atalanta dates back to October 1999 in Serie B. Giovanni Stroppa’s side are still without points this season. Andrea Ranocchia, Marco D’Alessandro, Andrea Carboni and Gabriele Ferrarini are injured.

Mota Carvalho could replace Andrea Petagna or Gianluca Caprari in attack. Matteo Pessina, a former Atalanta midfielder, expected to start. Nicolò Rovella to play his first game with Monza since completing a loan move from Juventus.

Only two teams have lost the opening five Serie A games: Treviso in 2005 and Benevento in 2017.

Gian Piero Gasperini is dealing with an injury crisis in attack as Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel are forced out of action. Therefore, 19-year-old Rasmus Winther Højlund will start.

Berat Djimsiti, Luis Palomino are also on the sidelines, and Gasp could switch to a four-man defence.

Atalanta won four of the last five league games against Monza, all in Serie B. La Dea has kept two consecutive clean sheets and could make it three for the first time in history.
