The left-back has joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Fenerbahce, and was officially presented to the media today. “I’ve arrived at a big club and I’ll do everything for Inter,” Erkin assured.
“It’ll be a great challenge for me and I’m happy to be here. I’ve come to a great club, I’ll rely on my skills and hopefully I can be helpful for many years.

“The Champions League? We deserve to play in that tournament, we’ll work to get back into the Champions League.
“We’re just focused on ourselves, we don’t want to think about the others. We’re a big club.”
Erkin was asked about Beneamata Coach Mancini, who has experience in Turkey after Coaching Galatasaray.
“We met when he was in Turkey, his players have always raved about him as a Coach. I look forward to working with Mancini.
“Obviously Mancini’s presence was very important, I got to know him in Turkey. He’s a winning Coach.”
Mauro Icardi’s future is up in the air, with his wife and agent, Wanda, suggesting he could leave this summer.
“I’ve admired him from outside,” Erkin explained.
“We’re talking about one of the best in his role. My role will be to supply him as well as possible.”
