Lazio have several very special guests at the stadium to cheer them on against Roma, including Sven Goran Eriksson, Cremonese winger Emanuele Valeri and Diego Gonzalez. ‘It’s too wonderful, fantastic!’

It kicks off at the Olimpico at 17.00 GMT.

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s Serie A games on the LIVEBLOG.

This is officially a home fixture for the Biancocelesti, so they have packed the stands with special guests for this showdown.

Eriksson is in the stands and posed with the trophies he won in the club museum during his time here from 1997 to December 2000.

Those include the Serie A title, the Cup Winners’ Cup, UEFA Super Cup, two Coppa Italia trophies and two Italian Super Cups.

Of course, the Swede was also on the Roma bench from 1984 to 1987, narrowly missing out on the Scudetto.

“It’s too wonderful, fantastic, I loved it so much!” Eriksson told DAZN after saluting the crowd during the warm-up.

“Lazio are the strongest team I ever coached at club level. We won a great deal, lost a few times, but I have many, wonderful memories of this place.”

Also present in the Curva Nord with the Lazio ultras is Cremonese winger Valeri, who is a lifelong Biancocelesti fan.

He has the day off, as Cremonese already drew 1-1 with Monza this weekend.

Diego Gonzalez is in the stands too, who is still owned by Lazio, but currently on loan to Mexican club Celaya with obligation to buy.
