Christian Eriksen admits his time at Inter has been something of a ‘roller-coaster, with lots of ups and downs,’ but he is hungry for more victories.

The midfielder had arrived from Tottenham Hotspur in January 2020 and struggled to get into Antonio Conte’s tactics or settle into his new Serie A experience.

Seemingly ready to leave in January 2021, he instead become a key part of the Scudetto-winning side when shifting his position to work alongside Marcelo Brozovic in a 3-5-2.

“My time at Inter was like a roller-coaster, with lots of ups and downs,” Eriksen told Berlingske.

“A winner wants to win more, so I feel even more hungry, both for Inter and Denmark. The Euros are going to be very special, above all when we play in Denmark.

“I really missed having fans in the stadium and can only say that even celebrating a title without fans is a little boring.”

He eventually concluded the season with four goals in 34 competitive games for Inter.
