Ajax sensation Christian Eriksen has admitted that he would consider a switch to Serie A – but warned he could not replace Wesley Sneijder at Inter.

Reports over the last few days have suggested that the Dane could be netted by the Milanese giants should they sell Sneijder.

“I couldn’t replace him,” the 20-year-old told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “I’m not a No 10. I know that a lot of clubs want me, but I am hearing the name of Inter for the first time.

“I’ll decide my future down the line, but it is not true that I just want to go and play in Spain. I’ll look at all the options from Italy, England and Spain.

“But before I leave Ajax I still want to win and that is what I am concentrating on.”

The midfielder is contracted to his current club until June 2014, but he doesn’t want to extend his stay which means the Dutch giants will sell at the end of the season – rather than lose him on a Bosman.
