Christian Eriksen could leave Inter in the January transfer window, according to reports in Italy.

The former Tottenham star did not play Inter’s last two games against Atalanta and Real Madrid and according to Fabrizio Romano his sale in the January window ‘cannot be ruled out.’

Inter refused Borussia Dortmund and Herta Berlin’s loan offers in the summer, Romano writes on Calciomercato.com, as the Nerazzurri didn’t want to sell the player for free like they did with Radja Nainggolan last season.

An option for the future could be a loan swap deal as it happened in 2017 when the Nerazzurri sold Geoffrey Kondogbia to Valencia in exchange of Joao Cancelo.

This is a possible scenario for the summer although at the moment there are no concrete negotiations yet.
