Palermo President Dario Mirri is in London to negotiate the club’s sale with a British investment fund: ‘Talks are ongoing, we are at a decisive stage.’

The Rosanero have a prestigious tradition in Serie A, but are now playing in Italy’s Serie C after the club’s bankruptcy in 2019.

Their president Dario Mirri is currently in London to negotiate the club’s sale with a British investment fund.

“They are people who want to invest in the club, which will be in the hands of serious people with large financial capacities,” he told La Repubblica.

“Those who approach our club do so because they are sure that there are significant profit margins.

“In this case, it is not a single person, but more people who have everything to make great things at Palermo. We are in talks and we are at a decisive stage, I am confident,” he added.

“They specifically asked me to keep a minority share, they want someone who knows Palermo,” Mirri concluded.

  1. I love all those wonderful memories of Zamparini’s Palermo. Except for the fact that it went bankrupt. : /
