Former Roma striker Marco Borriello has sensationally claimed that an English club want to sign Francesco Totti as a player.
Totti called time on his 27-year association with Roma last week, holding an explosive Press conference to announce he had stepped down as a director.
Borriello, meanwhile, played with the No 10 at the Olimpico and met up with him during his holiday in Ibiza.
“He’s very clear-headed, he knows what he wants,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“He’s very clear-headed, he knows what he wants,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“He’s a bit bitter about how he was treated at Roma and it was sad for all lovers of football.
“But life is like that, he knows he has to roll up his sleeves and start again with a new adventure.
“I know that a great leader of an English club has made him an offer to get back to playing football.
Leeds United have been linked with fellow Italy legend Gianluigi Buffon in recent days, so did the offer come from their owner Andrea Radrizzani?
“I don’t know,” concluded the ex-Juventus, Milan and Italy hitman.
The 42-year-old scored 307 goals in 786 appearances for the Giallorossi but has not played professional football since retiring in 2017.
