Roma are targeting Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri but have to fight off competition from Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce, who’ve offered a more lucrative contract.

The Giallorossi are on the hunt for a new centre forward following the conclusion of Romelu Lukaku’s loan spell, leaving them with a lack of firepower up front. The club are also open to selling Tammy Abraham, further increasing the need for reinforcements.

Roma are in the early stages of the new project under Daniele De Rossi and have already been hard at work in the transfer window, bringing in Enzo Le Fee and shipping out Houssem Aouar and Andrea Belotti. Juventus’ Matias Soule is also on the wish list.

Fenerbahce fight Roma for En-Nesyri

Gianluca Di Marzio details how Roma are in the thick of talks with En-Nesyri and his entourage, trying to find an agreement in principle before opening negotiations with Sevilla.

Mourinho’s Fenerbahce are also seriously interested in the 27-year-old Moroccan striker and have offered better terms than the Giallorossi.

  1. Roma can only negotiate but will never buy.that was how they lost good players under mourino ,yet expecting mourino to do magic for them.whe you fail to give the man the players he demanded.
