Empoli have signed young striker Arnel Jakupovic from the Middlesbrough academy.
The 18-year-old Austrian is of Bosnian origin and has made eight Premier League appearances this term scoring one goal.
Having represented Austria at all international youth levels, the youngster is said to hold immense potential.
