Empoli President Fabrizio Corsi advised Coach Maurizio Sarri against joining Milan. “He won’t find this elsewhere.”
The tactician has been heavily linked to a big club for next season, above all the Rossoneri, who want a replacement for Pippo Inzaghi.
“I extended Sarri’s contract after three consecutive defeats, then the positive results arrived,” Corsi told Tuttomercatoweb.

“I extended Sarri’s contract after three consecutive defeats, then the positive results arrived,” Corsi told Tuttomercatoweb.
“So of course I can’t imagine a future without him. He might have ambitions of more important clubs, but I can say he won’t find what he has at Empoli elsewhere.
“The prestige of a top club could attract him, but the success of a Coach also depends on how prepared the players and club are to follow his vision.”
Empoli have certainly impressed this season with their style of football even more so than results.
“We’ve gone beyond expectations and I am happy,” added Corsi. “At times we deserved more considering the performances, but we’re still content enough with our position in the table.”
